Normally when you think of prison you don’t think of great food, craft beer and wide open spaces, but the brand new Brewdog bar and restaurant located in the old Pentridge Prison might just change that.
The bar is massive, with plenty of space to run around in the open-air courtyard, as well as several smaller indoor dining rooms inside the old bluestone walls of E Division. Kids will quickly spot the foosball and table tennis, plus the pinball arcade inside.
There’s a huge selection of beers on tap, and a menu with plenty of plant-based options alongside burgers, pizzas and more. Kids can enjoy a “Hoppy Meal” made up of their choice of main and side dish, plus a drink and a dessert.
Outside the bar is a grassed area for play, as well as a fantastic wooden adventure playground and water play zone.
