Cedar is the newest cafe on the Moonee Ponds block - with gorgeous interiors, delicious food and amazing coffee, this kid friendly eatery needs to be added to your must visit list in Melbourne’s Northwest.

Catering for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike, you’ll seriously have trouble deciding what to order at Cedar. Mamma loves to devour their traditional lamb and garlic Manousheh, pastries, zaatar, mezza and dips with all of spices... oh so yum! The chicken tawook and lamb fillets have to be up there with Mamma’s favourite lunches of all time - the marinated free-range chicken is so succulent, it seriously melts in Mamma’s mouth!

Cedar’s breakfast menu is pretty comprehensive too - from the beautiful orange blossom custard, the Cedar Avocado (think smashed avo with a Lebanese twist) and so many different types of egg dishes you’ll be thinking about eggs for breakfast lunch and dinner!

You might want to bring a little extra coin with you - with the middle eastern inspired supermarket, you could be heading home with a little more than expected. This Mamma always does! Dips, bread, olives and some pantry staples - fantastic!
