Something amazing happened today. Mamma went to a beautiful cafe, drank a hot coffee, got through (nearly!) a whole meal and talked to her friend… and the toddler WAS THERE!! It’s the simple dream of any parent, isn’t it?! This is why we love kid-friendly cafes so much and Field Black is a particularly gorgeous one!

The food is unique and delicious, with a kids menu featuring healthy options (and pink pancakes!) Lots of dietary friendly choices are available too. The interior is beautifully styled and there’s a sunny courtyard that leads outside from, Mamma’s favourite, a picturesque little alfresco laneway with a European feel.

mamma special mention: Mamma loves taking the little one for a play at Rubie Thomson Reserve, there’s a great playground and lots of pretty spots for picnics or a kick of the footy!
