good days hot bread, brunswick east
/Mamma is fond of Banh Mi, and Good Days Hot Bread creates their own versions of the classic French-Vietnamese rolls while remaining true to their core components. Additions like pate, mayo, coriander, pickled carrot, cucumber, and your choice of a heftier filling in a traditional crusty baguette. Absolutely delish!
Their Xiu Mai (pork meatballs) in red sauce are next level, Miss 8 informs us they are a must! However, Mamma recommends the crunchy porchetta, which features five-spice rubbed and roasted pork belly, crackling, xo mince, coriander gremolata, and all the usual trimmings. There are a ridiculous spread of meats available for you to choose from and vegan options too so everyone’s happy!
Good Days Hot Bread doesn’t just serve up Banh Mi! There Char Siu duck bao buns and traditional pastrie are plentiful too. Oh and the Vietnamese iced coffee, nitro tea, and a Mexican fermented pineapple drink with Asian spices is pretty amazing!
Mamma thinks this place is perfect for a Sunday treat.
