madonna electric, brunswick
/Picture this - Nonna's house vibes, Franco Cozzo furniture, and the mouth-watering smell of thin-crust pizza. Has Mamma got you yet?
This place is exciting! Madonna Electric is the newest Italian hype in the north. Located on the popular Sydney Road strip in Brunswick this place is AMAZING!
The menu is something to definitely worth checking out and with brunch and dinner options available Mamma says you will not be disappointed. Mamma and her crew were lucky enough to get a taste of the brunch options and enjoyed every bite. There were a variety of baked eggs or wraps which were made with pizza dough and cooked in the wood-fire oven. Yum! Mamma especially the stracciatella cheese, mortadella and pistaccio, while little Miss 9 indulged in the meatball. Yum!
The dinner menu includes classics like Nonna’s Pomodoro Pizz’, napoli and cheese or the spicy Ma Va Fa...L'Americano, there is even an Absolute Peak Capricciosa which apparently will have you coming back for more. There are even kids options.
Wow, Mamma was blown away by the charming and nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant! The vintage furniture, cups, glasses, candelabras, and statues of Jesus, along with the fun Italian tunes playing in the background, made her feel like she had stepped back in time. Owners, Rob and John, were incredibly friendly and chatty, and they shared with Mamma that they opened the restaurant to bring back the old-school vibes that were slowly disappearing from the neighborhood. It’s what they loved about Brunswick and Mamma sure did too!
