Mamma can’t think of much of a better set up for an alfresco meal out with friends and kids than Major Tom’s! The venue has a casual outdoor seating section which opens out onto St Paul’s Park. Kids have a huge empty park in which to run and play while the adults supervise over beers and diner style pub food like nachos, burgers and chilli dogs!

Indoor is cosy, there is booth seating, a bar (with a great cocktail list!) and a stage for live music.

mamma special mention: There’s so much to do and see in Kyneton! A little further down Piper St is the Kyneton Museum which you can visit for a gold coin donation. Mamma also highly recommends a visit to Squishy Minnie kids Bookstore on High Street. The Community Playground at the Botanic Gardens is also incredible!
