“A sammich is a true work of culinary art”, and Sammich in Greensborough is delivering this and more with their epic toasties.

Made with sourdough bread and loaded with delicious fillings, like pulled pork, slow-cooked beef, meatballs, and so much cheesy goodness. There’s a decent-sized “sammich” menu here, but they can sell out during the day, so it is best to get in before the lunchtime rush, especially on weekends.

What did we choose? Well, Mamma couldn’t go past a classic like “The Reuben” and then we also tried something more fancy with “The Mushy”, with truffle mustard mayo. Yum.

If you need a bevvy to go with your toasties, which you most certainly will - Sammich has you covered with soft drinks, milkshakes and one of Northside's favourite coffees, Roasting Warehouse.

This is mostly a takeaway joint so seating is limited, but who wants to dine in when there is a park right next door and picnic blankets to borrow? What - yes - it is TRUE!

There's heaps of room to set up on the grass, child and let the kids enjoy the playground. It’s perfect, all the fun of a picnic with none of the effort. Mamma loves you too Sammich.
