teller, brunswick east
/Teller in Brunswick East is the perfect way to spend a weekend in the sunshine! This old 1918 Bank of Victoria building is a stylish addition to Brunswick’s Lygon street precinct.
The menu includes a range of sharing concepts for starters and Mamma took this as an opportunity to try a heap of delicious food. The crispy fried artichokes with chipotle mayo were amazing, not to mention the buttermilk fried chicken and smoked ham hock & pea croquettes with mustard mayo. Delicious!
The mains host a twist of pub favourites infused with a Mediterranean taste. There are gluten-free and vegan options too. Try the ricotta gnocchi or the spiced roasted cauliflower, maybe the 12-hour roasted lamb shoulder ticks all the boxes. Little ones can enjoy their own selection of food too with the ‘little one’s menu’. Little Miss 8 couldn’t go past the cheeseburger and fries. The drinks menu includes original cocktails, beer, and an extensive wine selection. There are also low and no alcohol options too
The staff were very welcoming and hospitable throughout our stay, even spotting us with some personal favourites from the menu which was a win. At Teller, you can choose between indoor or outdoor dining seating. There is room for big groups and prams, making this a perfect choice for a parents group too.
These guys also have a range of games to keep kids occupied while you enjoy dinner. There is Uno, checkers and also some outdoor giant games which are super fun, maybe a little competitive by the end of it. Well for Mamma anyway!
Teller covers all sorts of dining, from casual brunches and lunches to more sophisticated dinners. Do you deserve a night out without the kids? This is your place.
