Mamma says… if you’ve ever wanted to meet a llama, here’s your chance! The Llama Meet and Greet Experience is Just off the freeway in Woodend, you’ll find a gorgeous 14-acre farm where the llamas are ready to say hello.
First, you’ll be introduced to your very own llama before heading out on a relaxed stroll around the farm together. Along the way you’ll meet some of the other residents, with plenty of time for pats, photos and fun facts.
Mark, the llama keeper, will guide you through how to lead and care for your llama, while sharing what makes each of them so unique. You’ll get to know their names, quirks and personalities - no two llamas are the same!
Highlights:
Feed your llama “llama lollies” (their absolute fave!).
Taking your llama for a stroll.
Enjoy plunger coffee, tea and cookies in the sun while the llamas feed nearby.
This is a one-hour experience with morning or afternoon tea included. Mamma says it’s the sweetest little farm adventure — perfect for families, animal lovers or anyone who’s always dreamed of having a llama BFF.
Hanging Rock Llama Treks also have a fantastic trek for adults and older kids (12 and over) too. This 5km Hanging Rock Trek is well worth checking out.
For the more keen hikers there is also the option of a Day Walk on the Domino Trail which is a 12km hike between Trentham and Lyonville and return.
