All aboard Victoria’s newest and largest 7¼" gauge miniature railway!
Perfect for a day trip and only 90 minutes from Melbourne, you and the family can enjoy a ride on the 2.7km track in one of the steam or diesel locomotives while taking in the views of Mount Alexander.
Rides are just $5 per person and free for children under 2, run for approx. 12-14 minutes, and operate every Sunday from 11am - 5pm.
There are also a small range of vendors serving coffee, hot dogs and other goodies too. YUM!
Mamma says, whether you or your kiddos are train enthusiasts or just enjoy a little adventure, this is something that the whole family will enjoy.
A couple of things to note:
No dogs allowed on the trains
Steam trains can emit soot and cinders
Train and guard whistles and the trains can cause noise which may be overwhelming for some.
