Chocoholics must stop here! It’s a chocolate factory that is out of this world. Mamma's kind of heaven! The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery is a Valley treasure. You will be greeted by that sweet scent of cocoa as you walk through the doors and there are rows upon rows of treats before your eyes. Meters of chocolate bars, giant polka dots, rocky road and even chocolate beauty products.

Ice cream is the same - flavours you would only dream of. And then of course is the cafe! So many options, how is a Mamma ever going to choose? The Chocolaterie is a working factory AND has a great kid friendly cafe on site too. Grab a giant colouring sheet from the self service area and either purchase a packet of pencils from your table or bring your own! A must is the the REAL hot chocolate. You choose your milk and preferred chocolate white, milk or dark - and then stir in that goodie goodness yourself. Have a taste, and if it isn't quite rich enough, add some more chocolate (or just eat it right out of the cup!).

The grounds and rolling hills are another treat in themselves. Grown-ups can watch the kids play whilst taking in that magnificent view of the Yarra Valley. Let the little ones run through the fruit trees or purchase a ball from the shop for them to kick around. The Chocolaterie also has scavenger hunt activity sheets filled with things across the property for the kidlets to find. Oh… and did Mamma mention this place is dog friendly?! The perfect place for the ENTIRE family.

The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery also hosts a range of fun and engaging workshops and festivals throughout the year - from the ice cream and rocky road festivals to school holiday workshops for the little kids and masterclasses for the big “kids”.
