AFL Max, Melbourne Airport

AFL Max has officially opened its doors at Melbourne Airport, in time for the school holidays!

The brand-new venue brings a new way for families, schools and fans to party, play and learn.

The launch marks the first AFL Max venue in Victoria, located at Melbourne Airport in Tullamarine – next to URBNSurf and adjacent to the Essendon Football Club. The custom-built facility is Australia’s first immersive footy-themed entertainment and education venue.

Founded by Premiership player James Podsiadly, and backed by the AFL, AFL Max aims to establish itself as the premier destination for active, fun, learning experiences nationwide, while also driving footy participation.

The state-of-the-art Melbourne Airport venue features an indoor footy field, trampolines, climb zones, interactive screens, skill-testing attractions and more.

With five party rooms already available to book, AFL Max will also offer their popular birthday party packages, alongside a café and full commercial kitchen to host families and events.

In addition to general admission sessions and birthday parties, AFL Max has become a renowned education destination in South Australia, hosting over 25,000 students for an overnight camp in the past 3 years.

Set to replicate this success in Victoria, AFL Max Melbourne Airport will offer these curriculum-aligned overnight camps at the venue. With a focus on leadership, well-being, and mental health, AFL Max has partnered with experts to help deliver these important experiences to school students.
