kyabram fauna park splash park

Kyabram Fauna Park has just opened their newest attraction… a huge 580-square-metre Splash Park!

Shaped like a broad-shelled turtle, the new water-play space gives families a fun way to cool off after enjoying the wildlife habitats and trails.

There are other upgrades to the fauna park too, with updated facilities for some new animals that have arrived at the park, including a Quoll, Wombat and Meerkat, as well as new walking trails and paths, making it easier for those with mobility needs and prams to visit both the splash park and the exhibits.

The Splash Park incorporates cultural and conservation themes, with design elements inspired by the Endangered Broad-shelled Turtle, a totem of the local Yorta Yorta people.

Thanks to the Victorian State Government's Kids Go Free program, children under 16 receive free admission to Kyabram Fauna Park, Healesville Sanctuary, Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
