Well this is super cool and entertaining! Any fans of Ailsa Wild’s Squishy Taylor Junior Fiction books will love this interactive adventure mystery puzzle. Centring around a scrap book full of maps, cards, clues, crafts and a QR code system to access audio components to follow along with (the screen time is minimal with no visual elements) this is a great activity to do together as a family or for kids to do with friends. You don’t have to be familiar with Squishy books to enjoy this activity but you will soon become a fan!

Squishy Taylor has a mystery to solve and she needs your help! Ghosts are appearing across the city and 11-year-old ninja-spy and super-sleuth Squishy is hot on their trail. But without her all-important twin bonus sisters Jessie and Vee as backup, she urgently needs your support! Follow the clues, solve the puzzles and help Squishy unravel the mystery behind these phantom visions.

To get started you’ll receive an adventure kit in the post and can then undertake a quest through Squishy’s sleuthing scrapbook to solve the mystery. You can start whenever you like and it will take about an hour. Read the story aloud or let Squishy tell you the tale.. Each time you successfully complete a puzzle, you unlock the next chapter of the story and get one step closer to solving the mystery of the city-wide ghost plague. We found this to be a great brain buster with so many unique elements which really got us thinking and working together as a team.
