eastern regional libraries storytime at home

The Mammas all love a great storytime. It’s often part of our usual routine, so when the libraries can’t be open, the Eastern Regional Libraries teams have worked out a way to bring the fun to us at home. The plan, for as long as they can, is to bring storytime, LIVE to Facebook. You will recognise these storytime masters from your local library - and the kids will get a kick seeing familiar eastie faces, just like Michelle from the Rowville Library, on the screen. They might even start answering the questions out aloud! Like storytime in the traditional library, it isn’t just reading. The crew bring singing, dancing (including some hand washing tunes!) and might even inspire some impromptu crafting. Tune into the Facebook page at 11am to enjoy the fun. If you miss it, don’t fear. The recordings are saved and you can watch anytime.

Mamma’s special mention: Did you know you can access a whole bunch of online resources for kids (and adults!) on the ERL website as well?
