abbotsford farmers market, abbotsford
/As the weather gets cooler; rugging up, coffee in hand and wandering through an array of local, fresh produce is one of our favourite weekend activities. You never know what your latest food obsession will be!
Abbotsford Farmers Market is set in the surrounds of the stunning Abbotsford Convent and depending on the week, you’ll find things like cheese, bakery items, flavoured oils, handmade pasta, flowers, home made jams, honey and even wine.
You can also pick up your fruit and vegetables for the week while you’re at it! There are lots of stalls selling ready-to-eat food like gozlemes, toasties, cannoli, juices and coffee. Or, head to the Convent Bakery to grab a fresh croissant or escargot to enjoy while you listen to the live music.
It’s also dog friendly (on lead) so your pooch friends can come for the outing as well. The Heritage Gardens are beautiful and very much worth a look after your shopping.
