bundoora community market @ rmit
/Mamma loves a good local market, and there’s a brand new one to hit our doorstep! The Bundoora Community Market is a weekly Saturday market bringing together local growers, producers, makers, food businesses and other small businesses from the area.
There’s plenty to browse as you wander around the market, with fresh produce, artisan goods, specialty foods, hot food and coffee all on offer. With different stallholders throughout the year, it sounds like there will always be something new to discover, whether you’re picking up a few goodies for home or simply having a browse.
And this isn’t a market where Mamma thinks you need to rush in, grab your shopping and head home! The market is designed to be somewhere to hang out, with live entertainment, kids activities, and other local initiatives happening throughout the year. Bring the kids along, grab a coffee and have a wander while supporting some of the small businesses and producers in the community.
The Bundoora Community Market runs every Saturday from 8am–1pm at the P1 Car Park at RMIT University’s Bundoora Campus.
Entry and parking are free, and the market is dog friendly too!
Mamma thinks this could be a lovely new Saturday morning tradition for local families looking for something easy and community-focused to do together.
