Mamma has found a fun spot for little explorers in Mickleham! Discovery Park Playground is a safari-themed oasis with plenty to keep the kids busy, from animal sculptures and water play to climbing, sliding and swinging. There’s lots to discover around every corner, making this a great spot for an outdoor adventure.

The water play area is a big hit, with hand pumps and a dry creek-style channel winding past some very cool safari animals including a tiger, elephant, hippo and gorilla. There’s also a large climbing structure with rope nets, climbing walls, ladders, balance beams, monkey bars and slides, plus some fun spinning equipment and swings for the little ones.

Once the kiddos have had their fill of the playground, there’s plenty of open grass nearby with soccer goals for a kick around. The grown-ups can make use of the sheltered picnic tables and shaded seating, with a water tap close by too.
