treetop reserve playground, aitken grove (mickleham)

Mamma loves the newly opened nature inspired playground at Treetop Reserve - it really is shaping up to be a favourite for our adventurous little climbers.

Designed to feel like you’re exploring high amongst the treetops, the space is centred around a HUGE wooden structure complete with a massive colourful slide that absolutely steals the show. The incredible three storey treetop walk crossing bridge is another standout feature, giving kids the chance to climb, balance and explore up high in a fully netted space that still feels exciting while being safe.

The playground just keeps going too, with plenty of activities spread throughout the space to keep all ages entertained. There are additional slides, climbing walls, musical equipment, rope challenges, a spider web swing, seesaw, mini café for imaginative play and a long timber boardwalk style ramp connecting the different play areas. Mamma also spotted a cute koala themed height chart hidden amongst the equipment which the kids will love.

Beyond the playground itself, there’s so much room to spread out and play. Families will find a little skate area, outdoor gym equipment and a half basketball court for older kids wanting to burn some extra energy. There’s also loads of grass for picnics and games, shaded seating areas for parents plus BBQ facilities for an easy family afternoon outdoors. And yes folks - toilets are onsite too!

With so much to explore and such a fun nature-play vibe, Treetop Reserve is definitely one to add to your Melbourne north playground list.
