Hilltop Playground is a new gem! This park really has it all and caters beautifully for all ages. It includes slides, swings, climbing frames and a trampoline, as well as unique nature play elements like logs, boulders and paths to explore. Plus the splash zone is a fun interactive area for the warmer months.
Nearby to Melbourne Zoo, you will find this expansive park with water play zones, climbing structures, slides and shady trees, with a lovely city view to enjoy as you relax in nature.
When heading up to Victoria’s High Country in the warmer months, Mamma’s crew loves a stop off at Mitchell Avenue Splash Park in Wangaratta. Scattered along the ground are spraying arches to run through, mushroom shaped fountains that toddlers will love, a water channel, water shooters and a dragonfly shaped shower.
Anzac Park in Craigieburn: Where endless fun meets family-friendly amenities for a perfect day out! In another fenced-off section, you will find a super cool splash park that is activated by pressing two different buttons. Awesome fun!!

If you’re wanting to take your little one for a swim but worry an indoor pool might be too overwhelming or stressful, then head to Coburg Leisure Centre. There’s only 3 pools available to use here, for varying ages and abilities, and they are all heated! The baby splash pool has walk-in access and tipping buckets for water fun (If you’d like them on, just ask the staff). Next to it you’ll find a small learner pool and for the confident swimmers there’s a 25m lap pool.
We head to Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre when it’s raining or when it’s too hot to be outside and everything in between!
