Mamma has found a new spot for all the bagel lovers! Bagel Community in Oak Park is serving up a delicious range of fresh filled bagels, with your choice of bagel flavour to make it your own. And they’re 100% halal.

Mamma went for the Beef & Pickles, packed with pastrami, saucy sauerkraut mix, pickles, Swiss cheese and dressing, and yep, it was VERY yum! There are plenty of other tasty combinations too, from brekky bagels to pesto chook and avo.

If you prefer your bagel a little more open, they’ve got that covered too! We tried the Blueberry open bagel with cream cheese and blueberries, which was the perfect sweet option. Mamma also recommends checking out the Schmears… basically a bagel and a dip, so you can rip off a piece and get dipping! There are sweet and savoury options, including birthday cake, fried onion, Nutella, peanut butter and good old cream cheese.

And then there are the drinks! Bagel Community has a whole range of fun flavoured matchas and cloud-topped drinks to complete your bagel feast. Think Cake Batter, Cinnamon Scroll, Sea Salt Maple and Pink Cloud, alongside your classic coffee and matcha options.

Located on Xavier Street in Oak Park, Mamma thinks this is a pretty fun little spot for a brekkie, lunch or coffee catch-up, especially if you’re a bagel fan! Grab a seat outside in the sunshine or a casual crate kick-back indoors.
