rogue rabbit cafe, northcote

Mamma has found a cool new corner café tucked away just off High Street in Northcote! Meet Rogue Rabbit, a fresh new spot bringing something a little different to the usual brunch scene.

With cosy indoor seating and spots outside to enjoy on a sunny day, it’s a great little place to settle in for a bite to eat and a good coffee.

You can tell that the menu has been thoughtfully curated - it's small but mighty and tastebud-worthy. Mamma tried both the RR Schnitty and the Northcote Steakout, and they were well worth a spot on the table.

Alongside these, there are plenty of creative options, including chilli folded eggs served on a brioche waffle and pickled mushrooms with kimchi and parmesan butter. It’s a menu that feels a little different to the ordinary brunch staples, and Mamma loves seeing cafés get creative with their offerings!

Now, let’s talk drinks! The iced cold foam creations are a real highlight, and Mamma’s pick is the Northcote Fog - a refreshing mix of Earl Grey iced tea, raspberry and matcha cold foam. You can also try the Mont Blanc, with cold brew, brown sugar, orange and vanilla cold foam, or the fun Bronut Bomb, topped with bronut-infused cold foam and a bronut crouton. In a hurry? Grab one takeaway!

We also love that Rogue Rabbit supports other small businesses by stocking goodies from local makers and suppliers.

And you won’t miss this one when you’re wandering around the area! The outside wall features a giant mural by local artist Danielle Weber, adding plenty of personality to this already cool little spot.

You’ll find Rogue Rabbit at Separation Street, with parking options around the corner on High Street or over at Northcote Plaza. Mamma says this one is well worth seeking out for a brunch that’s a little out of the ordinary!
