Mamma has found another great playground in Beveridge! Ooranya Playground is a colourful play space with plenty to keep little adventurers busy, and it’s a great option for kids of different ages.

The big attraction is the impressive five-metre-high play tower, complete with a HUGE spiral slide for the brave ones! There’s also a smaller slide and junior play area, so the littler kids have plenty to explore too.

But there's more than just climbing and sliding here! One of the highlights is the water and sand play area, which is always a winner with the kiddos. There’s also a wheelchair-accessible carousel, swings and plenty of space to run around.

For the kids who love their wheels, there’s a track around the perimeter for bikes and scooters, plus basketball and netball courts for a bit of extra action. Just be prepared for some very wet and sandy little people by the time you leave!

There are shaded bench tables where the grown-ups can sit back while the kids play, along with bins to help keep the area tidy. One thing to keep in mind is that there are no public toilets on site, so plan ahead before settling in for a long visit.

Located in Ooranya Estate in Beveridge, this is a great little community playground with something for toddlers through to older kids. Mamma recommends bringing the scooters, a towel and a spare change of clothes!
