greenvale recreation reserve playground, greenvale

A fully fenced and gated playground… yes please! Greenvale Recreation Reserve Playground, also known as Section Road Playground, is a great option for families with little ones who love to explore, giving parents a little extra peace of mind while the kids play, and there’s plenty to keep everyone busy.

The standout feature is the huge climbing tower with two tunnel slides - one big and twisty for the more adventurous kids, and a gentler curved slide for those who prefer something a little less wild. Climbers can make their way up using the rope nets and chain tunnel before choosing their slide to travel down. There’s also an in-ground trampoline, bird’s nest swing, regular swings, a seesaw and a spinning carousel. Talk about options!

When the kids need a break from all that playing, there’s a sheltered area with picnic tables, plus a water tap to refill those drink bottles. Public toilets are located just outside the playground fence, which is always handy when you’re out with little ones. There’s also plenty of open space around the reserve if you want to extend your visit, and BBQ facilities too.

You’ll find the playground at Greenvale Recreation Reserve on Section Road, right near the sporting ovals. There’s ample parking available at the reserve, making it an easy spot to visit with a group.

Mamma loves a playground with plenty to explore, but a fully fenced and gated space? That’s a big tick for families with little runaways!
