Mamma loves a weekend stroll and the Merri Creek Trail is high on her list! You'll discover hidden gems and see lots of birds, all thanks to the native plants that have been replanted over the years. Miss 9 explored in wonder and was able to spot some unusual little creatures.
This part of the Merri Creek Trails covers about a third of the whole trail which is just under 8 kilometres. This isn’t all too long when there is lots to see along the way and makes a great weekend adventure.
Along your work there are cafes and places to stop for a coffee. There are playgrounds and loads of fun surprises. Pop into Joe’s Market in Coburg or Ceres Environmental Gardens and market. If you are like Mamma, we did the whole walk, stopped into Just Falafs in Fitzroy North for a bite and a quick visit to the Little Bookroom and a play at Edinburgh Gardens before heading back.
