Strawberries are the all time fave fruit for most kiddos - they are the little red dynamites of the fruit family so it's no wonder that the idea of strawberry picking fancy free in fields of them is quite popular! Mamma's kiddos particularly love to eat and pick them by the punnet load so this is not only a fun excursion with the kids, it can be a cost effective and educational way to get your fruit fix.

The strawberries are located in their own field away from the main farm, only a minute drive up the road. Entry is free and you pay by the punnet, so you can fill it as much as you want, just as long as you an close the lid.

Once, you have your strawberries, why not see what else is ripe for the pickin at the main farm'?! We often get bucket loads of apples, nectarines and peaches when in season and of course cherries when they are available too!

The fruit picking at Naturipe is easy and great fun for all ages (babes in carriers through to teenagers!) the 'ripe' areas are signed and simple to get to from the car park with staff giving you directions on where to go. Oh and how does everything taste? Absolutely incredible.

Mamma's tips for fruit picking:
- wear long sleeves, hat and sunscreen to protect you from the sun
- wear closed toes shoes (it can get a bit dusty/muddy)
- get there early to avoid disappointment or CALL before going out there to double check what they have ready for picking on the day 0419 340 363
- there is SOMETIMES an ice cream van here but otherwise no other food or drinks available
